Xena Sun-Lasting Huang A side-bar note - The desire to draw is as natural as the desire to talk, or write. Drawing can record ideas as well as independent works of art. (Dry media: pencil, charcoal, Conte crayon and pastel; liquid media: inks, felf-fiber-tipped marker pens, combined with gouache, acrylic and digital tech...etc. such as the above imagery "drawn" via digital devices with lines, shapes, colors, plus a narrative).
As we know that van Gogh struggled with drawing. His original career choices were "art dealer", like his brother, and "lay preacher".
Though he believed in the importance of drawing for an artist. Via his tenacious efforts, he produced great drawings displayed in major museums worldwide.
Another free association: How would the world history have been like if Hitler got his desire for being a professional artist???!!!
