黃子 Another bullying country intimidates the Majority House Speaker's visiting plan. Who is it? Wanna be the world Number #1 (in terms of imprisoned and unfree population) through threats?
黃子 I seldom make harsh comments or critiques on any cultural issues, because I have my own share of biases. The following messages are from my personal observations and understanding. Just a perspective for reference:
Taiwan, situated in the geo-political hub spot, for the 400 years, has been through many regimes, colonial occupations, or settlers' engagements. CCP, usurped its regime through an intriguing warfare with the aids of its daddy - USSR and a paradoxical help from Japan, never associating with Taiwan for Any Single Day SOVEREIGNLY, except the unrestricted warfare marauding, intimidating, and bullying. Its original ideals (distorted the early stage of Marxism) to attract massive, disadvantaged peasants and young people for building a utopia turn into a human inferno, replicating Lenin-Starlin's aftermath.
Absolute power and unpredictable human nature are the nemesis of the fake Communism, instead of the Scandinavian mode of welfare socialism! Massive people in the CCP autocratic regime live without basic human rights, not to mention animal rights, and the Earth justice. Its fast business success via any schemes available for the instant gains, lures many countries and individuals at the cost of the environmental destruction. And then it constantly threatens a not-with-the equal size-country, Taiwan that is democratic, flamboyant, peace-loving, and a contributive member of the international community.
Take a look at the massacres and tragedies happening in Tibet, the massive concentration camp of Uyghurs and genocide, military suppressing and killing its own students and teachers' pro-democracy movement at the Tiananmen Square, depriving Hong Kong people's freedom, democracy and prosperity IN FRONT of EVERYBODY's EYEs, and then, planning an INVADION via threatening the House Speaker for her visiting itinerary!!! Most people know well how the Nazi Germany emerged and expanded!
So, what is next?

Due to the friendship between Taiwan and Japan, I felt like expressing my condolence to the prime minister's family and his country.
If the politico-ideological differences of mine are put aside, in addition to Taiwan's unique geo-historical circumstances, the statesmanship is respectful.
Note: The following writing was the first version of the above post on July 9 (Sa), 2022 on facebook. It was based on a spontaneous thought about the meager chance of the happening according to the crime scene and my basic understanding of the Japanese culture, the PM's family background, personality traits, his endeavors and endurance, the setback before and after of his step-down, as well as his gravely deteriorating health condition. (I fully understand and appreciate the PM's friendship and support of Taiwan due to the historic-geopolitical connection, and the ideological complexity around the regions. I respect that. But at that moment, I also imagine an alternative version relating some skepticism and controversy regarding how and why Judas betrayed Jesus - a way that might overshadow Zelenskyy. I somewhat, feel inappropriate of myself to think that way during the world being sad about losing a renowned statesman...)

After having posted the above writing in a short period of time, I re-read it after reviewing some information regarding the assassin's vague motives. Then I revised it to conform the mainstream sentiment for expressing my respect to the statesman during that sorrowful moment, even though I was very skeptical toward the murderer's intentions.
This is the current version to express my respect and skipped my gut-feeling and the written nuances in the prose toward some unconvincing statements from the media about the assassin's thinking and behaving.
Now, different "conspiracy" theories have been emerging, including a couple of "unfriendly" countries' plotting the assassination and the anti-constitutional amendment movement...etc.
