FB friend Josh Tewell posted why people enjoyed not talking about politics and religion? - Just like most of your fb friends' posts...

Perhaps, some serious functions of Fb are promiting connections, amusements, business, and the rest (takes time to activate the frontal lobe ?)

Have you ever thought about how challenging it is to address the critical thinking core ability in a classroom with a big proportion of the SW, DT-supporting students (even some faculty) in the "21st" century of a post secondary "higher" educational setting in certain part of the Midwest America?

Martha Wallen Acceptable conversation is pretty boring. I admit that although I like to discuss controversial topics, I feel most comfortable talking with people who have the same values that I do.

Mary Shepardson It's very challenging to talk to people who have different values these days. I use to be able to but the way things are now, it's hard.
