黃昶 As CCP has been "purchasing" many international organizations (both IGOs and NGOs), it is rare to see such an UNdaunting behavior (backed by the US, though) like Canada's!! The following pictures are a tip of this international money-tossing and power-obtaining transactions:
Top one: the President of Czech
WHO director
Secretary of International Electrotechnical Commission
Vice executive of IMF
Secretary-General of the International Civil Aviation Org...and more

黃昶 An aftermath of WWII global hegemony - set Taiwan into an international de facto nation - with no fault of her own...

黃昶The most challenging geopolitical phenomenon on this planet: Taiwan's status challenges international law and the global hegemonic-gaming to the uttermost!
Does it take courage, (or sense of "justice"?) to interpret the laws? !!!
Before the World Wars, the Treaty of Shimonoseki, (馬關條約, signed in1895 ) concluded after the First Sino-Japanese War (the defeated Dynasty - Ching), transferred sovereignty of Taiwan to Japan.
Two post-World War II peace treaties precipitated her current status: One is Treaty of Peace with Japan or the Treaty of San Francisco (hereafter abbreviated SFPT, signed 1951, effective 1952)), and the other one is the Sino-Japanese Peace Treaty (中華民國與日本國間和平條約, signed 1952), also known as the Treaty of Taipei.
Due to the ambiguity of the wording in the treaties and the Chinese civil war, later, the Korean war ( the Truman "policy"), the interpretations are subject to heated debates among both sides of the Taiwan Strait and the international geo-political strategists, as well as the International law scholars.
Over 7 decades of' democratic endeavors, Taiwan not only creates her unique brand of democracy in pursuing Life, Liberty, and Happiness of the people, for the people, and by the people, but also diligently, positively participates in the International community for the better world.
