I tend to post some positive aspects of any culture to avoid the potential negative-stereotyping. But for the ccp-regime, particularly, the modern slavery hidden in the totalitrain tight control is too inhumane beyond words. The innocent have no fault of their own, but they were trained to speak for the oppressors for the sake of patriotism or being corcied against the foreign rescue teams.
There are various types of culprits to make slavery possible, and exploitation has myraid forms in different cultures, classes, races and gender, particularly, in the human jungle, as long as the power hierarchy exists.
To tolerate the brute is cruel to the innocent.

Last night, I kept on thinking an ironically sad phenomenon. According to the report, this car manufacturing company was reqired to hire certain amount of Bazilian workers in addition to laborers brought from its own country. What happened was that the local workers were treated three or four times better (wages, housing quality, benefit package etc.) than that of its own workers. This type of internal management, I call it as "自家刣, 賺腹內 / ga gi tai, tan bah lai," 或者是 - 寧給外人, 不予家奴; 對內剝削, 對外灑幣." 也許有人會自圓其說, 那是嚴以律己, 寬以待人的優良傳統啊!
