Pat, I got your tagged message. The Burning Blood (熱血歌),in fact was published in 1937 - the inception of World War II in the Far Eastern Asia, triggered by Japan in the Northeast part of China/Manchuria. The song writer was Mr. 黄自(a great composer) and lyrics by Mr. 吴崇海. The song was influential during China's (either the Nationalists or/and the Communists ?!) fighting against Japan's invasion right before World War II.

I was born and grew up in Taiwan and speak Taiwanese - like my ancestors several generations before me. Mandarin has been mandatory beginning in elementary schools, since the Nationalist government retreated to Taiwan after Communist China won the civil war in 1949. Though the older generation(s) in Taiwan did/do speak Japanese (occupied by Japan during 1895-1945).

Pat Jack Hey, where can I find the pinyin please, so I can learn the song and sing along?
10 hours ago · Unlike · 1
Pat Jack And when you add effects, only a teeny, tiny bit of the effect is needed, like reverb, just a tiny bit. You have a very nice voice, you are a good singer, and your sense of pitch is very good, so please, let us hear your voice, there is no need for lots of reverb, or delay,or echo. Thanks.

夜襲 - Dark Knights Fight: Mission Possible, sung by Li-chin (Crystal) Huang 黃昶
Uploaded on May 15 (W), 2013 Singing#6
The Art of War- winning in the battle field without dripping a drop of blood.
- 善戰者服上刑:兵不血刃 (- Sun Tsu, 孫子). 夜襲 is one of my favorite military songs, even though I am a peace-warrior!

Published on Jun 6, 2013
滿江紅 Intriguing War and Costly Peace sung by Li-chin (Crystal) Huang (黃昶) #15

A Tragic Epic of a Loyal Intellectual-Warrior General Yue Fei 岳飛 (March 24, 1103 -- January 27, 1142) who was trapped and betrayed by a small group of powerful corrupt officials who lied to the wimpy Emperor by demanding him to retreat via 12 calling-backs while he was intensively engaging in the battlefields fighting against the ruthless intruders from the north. He was tragically executed.

The lyrics was one of his most famous poems and his precious calligraphy is on the cover page of this video- 還我河山: "Get My Country Back"!

No any political implication is intended.

滿江紅 岳飛

怒髮衝冠,憑闌處,瀟瀟雨歇。
抬望眼,仰天長嘯,壯懷激烈。
三十功名塵與土,八千里路雲和月。
莫等閒,白了少年頭,空悲切。
靖康恥,猶未雪;
臣子恨,何時滅。
駕長車踏破賀蘭山缺。
壯志饑餐胡虜肉,笑談渴飲匈奴血。
待從頭,收拾舊山河,朝天闕。

Crystal Huang ...associating with a film, 悲情城市 - The City of Sadness. A tragedy with a hegemonic triangular complexity exacerbated by Japan's Imperialism and Colonialism (from 1895 to 1945 on Taiwan) and triggered by China's Civil War (between Mao's Communism and Chiang's "Nationalists???") during and after World War II, imposed socio-economic chaos and cultural-ethnic identity confusion/ crisis onto Taiwanese people till today. The pop-culture (such as a Japanese song with lyrics revised by a Taiwanese writer/poet- posted above) carried on such a hybridus remnant lingering in Taiwan during 50s, 60s and early 70s.
