April 24 (M) 2017 What are the basic woman/human rights of a first lady?

Crystal LC Huang shared Global-Awakening's video.
5 hrs ·

Is the current first lady in suffering (mental, physical, or both), repeating her predecessors' (his Ex-es, whether in the marriage or outside the marriage) stories?
Hard to tell from these captured nuances,
but something might not escape from your eyes ?

Crystal LC Huang Not to mention being a first lady - most of wives in the world can feel such a treatment.

Crystal LC Huang For the video part, I have no comments on other family's affairs.
But, these are public figures. Whether she was a model, star, or from a formerly, socialist country before, she is a woman (yes, does he forget that "woman's rights are part of human rights - in a rich family and an affluent country"? Furthermore, she is a mother and wife now. Doesn't she deserve a basic or proper treatment (according to the captured images in real time) from her husband and family members?

March 26 (Sn), 2017 What does a patriarchal society look like in an affluent country of the 21st century ?

Crystal LC Huang
19 hrs ·

Gender is one of the major themes of Diversity Studies (including Art Appreciation) and Sociology. Some students might deem the concept of patriarchy/androcentrism seemingly, to be archaic in the 21st century, and then, you see: who will determine how women's womb and health should function on the Capitol Hill in the spring of 2017.

Ed Rynearson, thanks for your post. It reminds me of an old poster (Though, not exactly about child sexual abuse).I dug it out, attached below. The great man of all time -Bill Cosby, finally, was caught (in reminiscence of the other type of media celebrities - Anthony Weiner, Eliot Spitzer, Jim McGreevey, Bill Clinton, "Who killed Chandra Levy?", Gary Rice, JFK... and the rest). Many, well-disguised or above the law, are still at large, according to some fb friends' reluctant revelations.

As to the most Updated One - the super big-shot, up to your imagination.

Crystal LC Huang Does my post work :D!?
One more was caught: Robert Bentley: Alabama governor resigns over sex scandal, while, the bigger and the "Biggest One" are still happily at large, or "above the law"!!! Stay tuned, or " behave carefully!!" More to come - I bet you!!!...See More

Be born more than this T-shirt.

Crystal LC Huang See, my sequel : One more was caught - Bill O'Reilly's sexual harrassment scandals!!! The Biggest shot is at the BIG large, though...

Crystal LC Huang Accidentally deleted. So a re-post:
(Yes, International Women's issues)-

大姊一輩子做女工為黃家犧牲 - a great epitome of the 2nd wave of globalization- a queen of "MIT kingdom", yes, Made-In-Taiwan, though the dark golden time had gone. It is too precious to find any MIT product...now :)!.

...By the way, 妳提到美國軍人,

No other reasons than in commemorating Susan B. Anthony. (Though the single-issue voters tend to tremendously jeopardize this nation; hopefully, I am not one of them on "this issue" !)

Sept. 8 (W), 2016. My Pieta !!!

Xena Sun-Lasting Huang

Setting up a Memorial Endowment Scholarship at CVTC in honor of the most important person in my life: Li-ling Huang.(黃麗玲)
- our dearest baby sister.

She bravely overcomes her socio-economic adversities, and puts her heart and soul in helping the less fortunate people. She advocates for human-animal rights and the earthjustice, and is a community organizer and social justice activist. She works though all her life for the better society until the day she returns to the multiverse on July 3rd, 2016 at the age of 52.

Sept 3 (Sa), 2016 Stand Up vs. Sit Down - the president of Georgetown University vs. Colin Kaepernick

Last week, Kaepernick was part of our focal points in our Sociology/Diversity classes. Now, the president of Georgetown University is sharing this "limelight".

Stand Up vs. Sit Down to the historical truth and the overdue justice.....

Georgetown University Plans Steps to Atone for Slave Past
The school, which in 1838 sold 272 slaves, plans to award preferential status in the admissions process to descendants of slaves, among other moves.

Isn't this a unique intersection of two "elephant-in-the-room" events?
While Colin Kaepernick declined to STAND UP during the National Anthem ceremony, the president of Georgetown University STANDS TALL to the horrific, painful truth and an overdue justice, 178 years later.

Who stands/steps on whose shoulders in order to see further, to flourish, and to harvest the well-designed life chances?

In 1838, Georgetown University made profits from the sale of 272 slaves to keep the school's business flourishing, since educational budget-cut and teacher lay-offs were not a fashion yet. It embarked on a series of steps to atone for the past, including awarding preferential status in the admissions process to descendants of the enslaved.

Indeed, a UNIQUE type of "Legacy Admissions" will be born.

What are the potential consequences?Like · Reply · 1 · Just now · Edited
