Share one of my most favorite songs: 南國土佐を後にして. Such a beautiful song, in fact, is associated with war. According to an interview, it was teacher Mr. Takemasa who missed his student/the interviewee, serving in the battlefield, composed the melody
mixed with Kochi/高知 Tosa/土佐 folksong. (Most soldiers of that battalion were from the Kochi prefecture).

Feb. 7 (T), 2023 The proud plum blossoms; Rescue
3 years ago today:
Dr. Li Wenliang (李文亮,) was the first whistle-blower who warned his colleagues about the outbreak of the Coronavirus (from the knowledge of the previous SARS disaster) during the late December, 2019 to January of 2020 in Wuhan, meanwhile, Taiwan, was the first country to report the potential wide-spreading viral crisis to the WHO, but got an only "read" response. (The guardian of WHO, has become less sweet to that big country recently).
A couple of days later, Dr. Li was summoned to the Public Security Bureau and was accused of spreading false information and disturbing the social order.
Through serving many sudden patients, Dr. Li also became infected with the virus and died a few days later on Feb. 7, 2020 due to a dubious delayed treatment and negligence.
Later, more and more journalists started getting some facts, yet, either they were disappeared or were locked up.
This song (attached in the thread) 一剪梅 The proud plum blossom - in memory of Dr. Wenliang Li was recorded/added a brief translation, the day after Dr. Li passed away of Feb. 8, 2020.
