The above writing reminds me of an old Taiwan Folk song. Attached below.

(A Bird Fighting and Crying its Heart Out)
Arranged by 蔡振南, 江孝文, and others.
Singer: Dr. Xena LCH
This is a well-known folk song in Jia-yi (嘉義), south part of Taiwan.
The song expressed the Japanese's brutality and colonial hegemony (1895-1945 c.e.)
on Taiwanese people.

The politic-economic oppression and cultural suppression reached the intolerable condition, the local people, in particular, 諸羅 (嘉義) areas, organized to fight back and were brutally massacred by Japanese military establishment. Birds in the lyrics symbolized the oppressed people, whose nests were destroyed and offspring were killed by the evil intruders and oppressors.

People bravely fought against colonial domination and they sacrificed for their freedom and justice.

Taiwan Folk Song

Composer:
Lyricist
Arranger
Keith
Sung:  Xena LCH #117

Composer:
Lyricist

Love in Winter (with my brief English Translation)

Lyricist:
Composer:

水にただよう 浮 草  に                     Fate, is like the duckweed, floating on the water;
In silence, gaze in tears, nodding with sigh.
俺をみつめて うなずくおまえ            to be with you.

No blossoms,
いつか実 (mi) のなる ときをまつ       but wait for the fruit to bear.
In such a cold night,
たまのおごりと はしゃぐ姿に             get some wine for a luxury chat,
きめた きめた おまえとみちづれに yes, to be with you.

No roots, nor tomorrow, it is like the duckweed,
月のしずくの やどるころ                   that is the place for moonlight to embrace the dew.
Hold your hands in the dreams
さぐりあてれば 小さな寝息               for breathing a short peace,
きめた きめた おまえとみちづれに yes, a decision, to be with you.

[中譯]  旅伴 (this is a ready-made translation Downloaded from the Internet)

National Dignity or Blood                    Sung by Crystal Li-chin Huang (黃昶) #20
Uploaded on November 23 (Sa), 2013

Not about Nationalism. For energizing, for inspiring!!

夜襲 - Dark Knights Fight: Mission Possible, sung by Li-chin (Crystal) Huang 黃昶

The Art of War- winning in the battle field without dripping a drop of blood.
夜襲 is one of my favorite military songs, even though I am a peace-warrior!

Though I am not a Japanophile,
南國土佐を後にして is one of my favorite Japanese songs.
This was my first upload to youtube after a preliminary (untrimmed) version posted a day ago.
An fb friend kindly pointed out a "digital lagging effect'.
So I cut off the dragging part and added in some flowers to shape this one.

Intriguing War and Costly Peace sung by Li-chin (Crystal) Huang (黃昶) #15

A Tragic Epic of a Loyal Intellectual-Warrior General Yue Fei 岳飛 (March 24, 1103 -- January 27, 1142) who was trapped and betrayed by a small group of powerful corrupt officials who lied to the wimpy Emperor by demanding him to retreat via 12 calling-backs while he was intensively engaging in the battlefields fighting against the ruthless intruders from the north. He was tragically executed.

The lyrics was one of his most famous poems and his precious calligraphy is on the cover page of this video- 還我河山: "Get My Country Back"!

No any political implication is intended.

靖康恥,猶未雪;
