Sun Lasting Don't be misled by the above 2 hints. In fact, my colleague Dr. Marian Smith could be the best candidate - from my bias <3 br="">
Marian Smith I love all the cat photos! We are fortunate that our kitties love us!

Marian Smith I am teaching the cats to do laundry!

What is your new year resolution? Is it different from the last year's?
Thanks to Philosopher-scholar Peter Singer's sharing.

At the end of each year, we take stock of who we are. According to a new poll, "being a better person" tied for most popular New Year's resolution for 2018.

It was also the No. 1 resolution last year, marking a shift from the previous decade in which “losing weight” topped the list 80% of the time (it tied this year). - USATODAY.comManage

Dec 28 (Th) 2017 The new year resolution: Are you a good person?

About my previous post - regarding the new year resolution: "Are you a good person?"
Here are some sources that make me a good (and anticipating being a better) person:
#1. Some ideas in these selected books make me a better person:

Sun Lasting #2.
Bertrand Russell's philosophical views make me think of being a good person as well. If you remember one of the viral posts on fb was originated from him: The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts. ...Well, I'd better show some skepticism of mine or my cocksure attitude toward the above statement ?

Sun Lasting #3.
Peter Singer's philosophy reinforces me to be a better person. Here is why - he says: All the arguments to prove man's superiority cannot shatter this hard fact: in suffering the animals are our equals. I cannot agree enough, except in suffering, the animals endure much more helpless and hopeless agonies which are beyond "words".

Sun Lasting and more...in particular, all the feline majesties in my life make me a best person that I wanna be in the US !

Dec 28 (Th) 2017 How to evaluate a country's "success"?

Sun Lasting My very emotional response to the heinous crime against ( I took off from facebook, but posted at the bottom on blogger) the brutalized by the youngsters in the video:
How do you evaluate a country's "Success"? - by how many nuclear heads, skyscrapers, beloved gods, tons of video games, and the abundant materials stuffed in the super markets or houses; or how the whole culture socializes, nurtures, and educates children (both male, female and those go between), women, and protects the defenseless animals (non-human sentient beings)...??

It takes the whole village's love and care to bring forth humanity alive.

Sun Lasting Some of fb friends are too kind to accept any things which is not visually elegant or joyful, though. Respect that.
We have to work hard, voluntarily, co-building a happy Facebook paradise.
Sorry Per Ingebrigtsen, Dana, Jenny, Steve, thanks for your responses.
