Brief (of the above poster): Doesn't it happen during a time when education is the most powerful feeding and mind-controlling machine as well as propagandistic mechanism, while the critical thinking capacity is deemed as a threat to the advantaged and the privileged (may include the inherited rich and the undeserved powerful, if you like) of the ruling class/elite?
